System time reset wrongly on reboot, opensuse 10.2

System time is getting reset wrongly on reboot.
Even after resetting to correct time by YAST2, on reboot the problem
reappears. BIOS and other OS-s show correct time.
M/B battery is quite new.

System : AMD Athlon 3200, A8NE M/B, 3 GB RAM

OS : Opensuse 10.2 (Problem), Others : Fedora 6, WinXP

Thanks for any valuable suggestion.

Without knowing more, it is hard to say. If you are dual-booting with XP, that might be causing the problem. It could be a daylight savings problem.

I'd recommend setting things up as given in this article:

http://en.opensuse.org/YaST_NTP_Client

That will take care of everything for you.
