Sync? Lucky Backup vs Freefilesync

Hi all

Like to find out anyone whom have had experience with sync software, especially comparing Lucky Backup vs Freefilesync.

From what I've come across on the web ... both seem good, though Lucky Backup was last updated 2018 and from it's websites there are some restrictions set on it from newer linux versions.
And with Freefilesync, there are some concerns of malware ...
Like to know any concerns and in general which perform better.

There is no one "best" answer - for backups or much else as it happens. I don't use either of them, but do use multiple tools based on requirements. Predominantly, but not only, basic rsync.
