Problem still persists, no word from the developer, and improving this part of the software would really be useful.

Night themes are becoming more and more important with recent scientific findings concerning how artificial light in the night disrupt human circadian rythms, which in turn cause sleep disorders, disrupting the body's ability to produce melatonin.

Melatonin is secreted at night and is known for helping to regulate the body's biologic clock. It serves many purposes, failure to produce enough can cause estrogen overproduction and increased cancer rates.
