SVGA Issue

I keep getting a "svgalib: cant find /DEV/SVGA" error when I run my small gcc test program. The files are there and I get no errors compiling and building, just when running.

Thanks in advance for any help.

since no one has replied, what do you mean the files are there?

how many /dev/svga entries do you have?

2) I do not use mint but are you using a xorg.conf or a XF86Free.conf?

3) if the program is small can you post it so others can spot the error or if its larger can you link to it from a online storage?

a free one to try if you have none is www.ripway.com

4) do you have any video errors such as found in /.xsession-errors if you have such a beast
