I purchaced my first distro today. Suse. I had never used it before and I have wanted to check it out for a long time.
Anyway i have come to rely on apt for other rpm distros so it was the first thing i did with my new suse install. Apparently it wont take yum.
I have been getting a fatal error on apt-get update:

I would appreciate any help resolving this matter. Suse Peronal lacks Samba and other packages i need and i see no reason to battle dependencies on a distro that has no apt or yum type artillary.
thanks again
