Suse 9.0 & Nicotine

Hi, I just recently switched from Mandrake 9.1 to Suse 9.0 and I want to use Nicotine on Suse, but It doesn't work.
When Trying to install with: $ python setup.py install,
I get this error message:
Code:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "setup.py", line 13, in ?
    from distutils.core import setup
ImportError: No module named distutils.core
I tried it with Nicotine 1.0.6rc1 and 1.0.4.1.

Somebody here that can help me?
