superkaramba install issues w/ Qt

I am trying to install superkaramba on a FC4 machine with KDE. When I run the ./configure script it fails with the message;
checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt (>= Qt 3.3) (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!
For more details about this problem, look at the end of config.log.

I have been trying to fix this by finding the correct package by doing a
Code:
yum search qt
. I found a qt-devel package and installed it but still receive the error when running the ./configure

OK, I did a
Code:
locate qt
and fount that I have qt3.3 in /usr/lib and /usr/share. Yes, I am a noob but please help...
Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm going nuts here.

install

OK, I have made progress. Not that anyone cares (30 views to this post and 0 re,
When I run ./configure the last few lines read;
checking if Qt needs -ljpeg... no
checking for rpath... yes
checking for KDE... configure: error:
in the prefix, you've chosen, are no KDE headers installed. This will fail.
So, check this please and use another prefix!

Can anyone please tell me how to use a prefix in this situation? If it isn't obvious I'm rather new to linux. Thanks to any helpers.

Well, either one of two things is happening.. you don't have the kde-*-devel packages installed or you aren't installing into the right prefix for it to detect your kde libs/headers.
for example.. kde-config --prefix should tell you where kde is installed..
and then try ./configure --prefix=foo where foo is the directory that kde is installed on FC4.
