I am trying to find a sticky note program to use, kinda of like 3M's program for windoze, but I need some help. I have tried Xnotes and it wont run, I get a segmentation fault, and Molasses I got to work but it wont save any of my notes, as soon as the program closes it deletes any saved notes...
Im running a modified version of GNOME...I know that doesnt help much cause there are tons of them, but it came with Redhat and I tweaked it a little...nothing that should cause problems with these programs though...not sure what I can do...I want to switch to another GUI (Enlightenment), just havent had the time to put it all together...and Im not totally familiar with 8.0 Redhat (just upgraded recently) so booting another GUI is a little difficult for me...but Im not that bright anyways hahahah

WMpinboard might work for you. It doesn't have the same fuctionality that post-it notes has (sending notes over network, hypertext links, images), but it's enough for some scribbles and notes to be saved on the desktop.
