Hello all, I am just having a heck of a time with a lot of issues in Linux as a recent convert from Windows XP - I didn't expect that everything would be such a challenge, but for now I'm up to it. One thing I need to able to do is properly view Flash web pages in Mozilla, so I downloaded and installed the Flash player and everything works except the sound - It kind of just skips forward, on and off in rapid succession. What's up with this? Can anyone offer me any advice? I'm using Mozilla 1.2 in KDE3 with RedHat 9. Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks so much.

Do you have any programs open which may be also trying to interact with your sound device at the same time? ie. xmms

Sometimes if your soundcard can't handle multiple sound channels very well it can cause potentional problems, etc.
