Some linux paching questions.

Hello,
Some linux paching questions:
Regarding a large patch found at http://www.spinics.net/lists/reiserf.../msg03822.html

- At what lines does the patch start and end at ?, I'm not clear on which line the patch starts at.
- Is the command to apply a patch similar to:
# patch -p1 < ../somefile.patch

Thankyou for the help.

That patch appears to begin here:

--- a/fs/reiserfs/bitmap.c
+++ b/fs/reiserfs/bitmap.c

it ends just before

To unsubscribe <blah>

You won't have a or b, so I presume you will cd to where you can see the fs/ subdir in a plain 'ls' (in your kernel) and run

patch -p1 <etc.>
