solvw proftpd problems


I got this message after installinf proftpd on suse 10.0--
The program /usr/local/sbin/proftpd does not appear to be the ProFTPD server. Maybe it is not installed, or your module configuration is incorrect. Output from the command /usr/local/sbin/proftpd -v was :

- ProFTPD Version 1.2.10


give me the solution

Hi Noorudin,

How did you installed the proftpd server?
Try installing from source if you have used some other type. This
will give you a good control to install.
