Lightbulb socket programming with web browser


Hi friends, i have an issue
let me make it as simple
1. Want to create a web application (server), say which has some edit box
2. Want to create a normal C application (client)

what ever i type in client should be displayed in the web page.
I know the client side application with C. I know nothing in web application. can somebody help me.

Should use flash. Flash has socket programming.
