Goodafternoon all!


I have local email server im using Linux centos 5.4 and postfix
and its works fine in receiving and sending message

and i have webmail using roundcube and others requirements such as PHP apache and etc...


now my porblem is about the capacity of attachment i set my php.ini into 50MB but the problem is if compressed the file with 20MB or even 5MB per file it gives me an error "smtp data error", i am wondering why even my capcity upload file is 50MB.




is there any idea...how to fix this problem

There can be multiple limits set in this instance and it's hard to tell which you're hitting although I'd guess postfix initially-- Postfix can have one, Quotas can have one, PHP can have one, and the webmail itself can have one.

Verify your attachment size restriction in postfix and if quotas are enabled first and then move on from there.
