Small & lightweight WM recommendation

I know, I know, Google will tell me all about Enlightenment, BlackBox, Fluxbox et al.

But the aircon has broken down, I'm running out of cold carbonated drinks, and I really don't have the energy to read all the blurbs to work it out myself. So, please give me your opinion on the following matter:

I use FVWM & have no plans to switch to something else. However, my gf makes occasional use of my PC and doesn't like the way my FVWM works. There are no other WMs currently installed.

I refuse to waste disk space on Gnome or KDE for somebody who only needs a WM to make it easy to use Firefox and games, so I'm looking for a windows manager that:

- is very small (So it's not wasting too many resources)

- looks nice out-of-the-box (I won't touch it & she won't want to spend much time configuring it)

- has a nice, easy-to-use GUI for configuring things (so she can add new games & change the wallpaper on her own & without using the CLI)

She genuinely uses my PC for nothing else: Firefox and games is the limit of her interest in it, so no other features are desired. Your recommendations, please!

XFCE4.

Not sure on resources, but it loads fast, has GUI control panel. Easy to use and set up.

It's been my only WM for about a year now.

mmmmmm sounds like a pickel hehehehehhehe, well dude then can YOU manully configure FVWM to her liking and just add icons to the desktop for her favourite apps. You can do that w/ fluxbox it's very small i think it was like 1mb, then the idesk app for icons and bingo! now i notice you are using gentoo, we will assume that's the system she will also use correct? well in order to install games she will need to run the emerge command from the command line.

Ah. that's OK, she doesn't install anything herself, just uses the stuff I install.

I can make a new FVWM for her, but it'd be a pain to maintain two separate configs.

I'll take a look at XFCE & Fluxbox, cheers both!
