slamd64 libcompizconifg build demolition

Code:
libtool: compile: gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I.. -I/usr/include/libxml2 -I/usr/include/startup-notification-1.0 -I/usr/include/compiz -I../include -I../src -DPLUGINDIR=\"/usr/lib/compiz\" -DLIBDIR=\"/usr/lib\" -g -O2 -Wall -Wpointer-arith -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wmissing-declarations -Wnested-externs -fno-strict-aliasing -MT ccp.lo -MD -MP -MF .deps/ccp.Tpo -c ccp.c -fPIC -DPIC -o .libs/ccp.o
ccp.c: In function 'ccpInitCore':
ccp.c:745: error: too many arguments to function 'compAddTimeout'
ccp.c:748: warning: passing argument 2 of 'compAddTimeout' makes pointer from integer without a cast
ccp.c:748: error: too many arguments to function 'compAddTimeout'
make[2]: *** [ccp.lo] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/mkultra/Desktop/libcompizconfig-0.7.8/plugin'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/mkultra/Desktop/libcompizconfig-0.7.8'
make: *** [all] Error 2
i did a google search, and people have not said anything about this error ANYWHERE so i figure i might as well be the first to report it.

anyone have any ideas as to how to fix it? my order is compizbcop that went fine, then this package. the configure seems to go well but the make explodes =(
