shell scripting and makefile
Hi,
I'm working on a networking project which have many modules like http-proxy smtp-proxy,vpn,etc. I have a top-level makefile which calls other makefiles to compile the modules one-by-one. Here if any file of a module has an error the compilation will stop.
My requirement is that if any file of a given module is giving error , then the compilation should not stop and instead should continue with the compilation for the next module.
Can u tell me what are ways to do that? I was thinking of writing shell scripting and calling the top level makefile from that but that doesn't work.
Please do help..
