seti@home


yeah well i like it, that seti@home thing. but i cant seem to find a good one for linux. i went on the official website but i think i had some problems with the versions.i installed a winshit one with cedega but its not going very well.

soooo
anyone got seti@home for linux that works fine? i guess its an easy question and all, but it's been two months since i went on linux (had too much stuff to do for school and i needed autocad).

so long and thanks for all the fish

You might try the Seti@Home helpdesk. I used to run folding@home (which is a sister project) on linux without problems. I think you might find that you can only download a command line client, so download, chmod to 755 and run it, this is how it worked with folding@home

Also come on, there is no need to use language like that especially on this sort of forum, I find it quite offensive, I'm sure others will too and I've noticed that its being used more and more these days
