Angry sendmail upgrade

Hi,

I 've just upgrade my Redhat Linux from 7.2 to 8.0. This server is user for sendmail server and it was working alright before this. Upon finish upgrading, using the upgrade option from the CD at boot up, i did a "telnet localhost 25" and a "telnet localhost 110" test. The test reply my test very slowly, slower like nothing i 've every seen before.

So i did a "/etc/rc.d/init.d/sendmail restart" command and here's what i get:

Shutting down sendmail: OK ]
Shutting down sm-client: FAILED]
Starting sendmail: OK ]
Starting sm-client: /usr/sbin/sendmail: illegal option -- A
FAILED]

At the /etc/mail directory i 've also discover a new file called "submit.cf" and "submit.mc". Kind of new to me. How do i enable my e-mail server to work properly again? After all, it's the same sendmail version, namely version 8.x.x. Did i miss something new?
