Sendmail maillog parser

I am looking for a program that can help me interpret my sendmail maillog. I need to generate summary of use eg number and size of emails sent out/received per day. I got mailmgr from http://sarg.sourceforge.net/ but this doesnt seem to work for me, it doesnt produce the summaries.

I use a program called logwatch on my servers. It will actually parse all of your logs and easily customizable. And you can have it so it emails you the results daily, etc, with cron.
