segmentation fault on basic commands such as ls, grep, etc.

Hi,

I have found the cause of my problem, but I am not sure what the proper fix is.

The issue is I accidentally modified a dynamic library file on my system (symlinked it to another file), and now common commands such as "ls" and "grep" are failing with segmentation fault.

Please let me know how I can properly recover from this.

Thank you.

Boot from a live CD and copy the CORRECT version of this library file to your local disk.
