Smile scripts for starting number lock on for GNOME


Is there any scripts that can turn on my pc 104 keyboard's number lock...i mean if i log into GNOME,I can execute any scripts by putting them on the menu Desktop>preferences>Sessions>TAB|Startup programs.I want it for my GNOME Desktop Only.I dont use kde
I knew that there is a program called numlockx which can turn on number lock..later it turned buggy for me...is there any alternate scripts...
