script does not work

I want to use automation on a web site.

I wrote a script. it starts with:

-------------------------------
#login
iceweasel http://anyurl.com &
xte 'mousemove 650 580'
........
-------------------------------

I want iceweasel to start and to skip to other command. but it does not start. it gives this:

--------------------
The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'.
(Details: serial 3359 error_code 3 request_code 20 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

---------------------

when I type the same line in command line instead of calling as script, it works. But script does not work.

note: iceweasel is the same thing with firefox. It is in debian.

Assuming you are using bash, you would need to start the script with "#!/bin/bash" (without the quotes). I think other scripting languages require something similar.

Try other things in the script to be sure they work.
