Samba shares

I have a linux file server configured that cooperates nicely with a bunch of windows machines. I need to set up a section of the server that allows the sharing of a bunch of directories, with 4 users, each having different rights to each directory. For example, one user may have read access to some directories, write to another, while other users have different combinations of these rights.

Any attempt I have made so far, allowed either no access for all users, or full access, I can't seem to find a way to customize each users rights.

Try setting up your shares with the inherit permissions=yes option, that way itll just use the file permissions from the linux filesystem, as if the users were actually using the computer.
