samba

Could anyone give me some insight on how to properly configure Samba. I am using it for home networking to connect two computers one with windows xp and the other with linspire. On the Linspire computer when I try to launch the network browser I get the message it is something like "Samba may not be properly configured". I would like some insight on configuring samba for home use with two computers.

The info at http://us1.samba.org/samba/docs/man/...FastStart.html should be useful - it's the quick-start section of the main Samba howto.
