Question RXVT-unicode, strange behavior in Debian SID

I've followed the documentation on the archlinux wiki, to edit my urxvt.
Everything resides in the ~/.Xresources.
But when I reboot my computer, what i've changed goes back to default..
I've done theese steps on my laptop, which also runs SID. And the problem is nonexistant there.

Did I post in the wrong forum or something?
It's strange that no one has encountered this problem before.
