Unhappy Running software in home directory

Dear users,

I have downloaded a program "MOlden" in my root directory in the LINUX machine?

How can I run the program in my home directory?

regards,

specify the relative or absolute path and assuming it's an executable program it'll run, e.g "./myprogram" if you're in the right directory, or "/home/username/myprogram" from anywhere else. if the program is not executable already, "chmod +x /home/username/myprogram" should make it so.
