There's Crossover and Cedega... but they are both basically enhanced versions of Wine. They're also both commercial products. And no, there's not much else: Along with these two derivatives, Wine is basically the best there is.
Crossover is a commercial product that is specifically designed to make it easier to run some of the most common Windows applications, such as MS Office, Internet Explorer, etc. Cedega, on the other hand, has enhanced Wine to make it run games better.
You could try them out, see if they help. Crossover in particular can run a lot of Windows apps that the plain version of Wine struggles with -- it runs Adobe Photoshop in our office, and a few other goodies besides, so it's worth a try. It is a commercial product, but you can download a 30 day demo.
I don't know Fruity Loops, so I can't tell you if it'll work with it (actually, I thought it was some kind of breakfast cereal...
). You might find compatibility info on the Crossover website, though.
Oh yes -- Crossover is at
www.codeweavers.com and Cedega is at
www.transgaming.com and
www.transgaming.org
Hope that helps.
