Running evolution in notification area


Hi,
i want my evolution to run in notification area.
any ideas?

See if there is a notification area icon panel plugin for your operating system available; something like mail-notification-evolution or so. If not, you might be out of luck - it depends on the program if it offers functionality like that.

Actually you don't (at least hopefully) put the whole program into the notification area, just an applet trough which you can do certain things with the real program. If you did put Evolution (as whole) into the notification area and your panel (or the notification area applet) crashed, it would also crash Evolution.
