Cool Running An Apache 2.0 Server Internally Firewalled By Smoothwall

Hello Linux Gurus,

I need some wisdom. I've always been a big fan of Linux and I use a Smoothwall machine to protect my network. Because of Smoothwall's proven stability and security features I thought it would make the ideal hardware firefall for my Apache server. I am however unable to configure Smoothwall in a way that will let traffic flow through over Port 80. I notice that any requests are dropped from viewing my Logs. Any ideas?

Thanks alot!

May the Linux force be with you!

Welcome to LQ.

You will need to set up port forwarding under the networking section.

Hey i've tried doing all the port forwarding stuff and Smoothwall still won't budge. Any other ideas. Will I have to configure Apache differenly, use different ports, etc?

Can you post an excerpt from your logs with the error message?
