rtorrent: error while loading shared libraries: libtorrent.so.11: cannot open shared

"rtorrent: error while loading shared libraries: libtorrent.so.11: cannot open shared object file" is the error I get when I try to start rtorrent. It used to work but this morning stopped working. A search online turns up little information on this problem. I've tried searching my drive for that file but it turns up nothing. I tried to reinstall rtorrent with no luck, any suggestions?

Did you upgrade anything this morning? What does a search on libtorrent* return?

I didn't change anything just tried to start the program and that search turns up nothing.
