Rsync Configuration

I have a Ubuntu Linux system setup to run backups using rsync. It received files from various clients. I've recently added a new Centos 5 server to the network and would like to configure that to run rsync so it can be backed up as well. On the first attempt to run the backup from the server I get the Connection refused 111 error. But when I went to check the config file on the centos box I noticed that it wasn't there..

Can someone give me a hand to setup rsync on Centos? I trued yum install rsync and it only updated the existing application, but there is still no rsync config file in /etc OR process in init.d

This might be a good place to start.

Thank you for your response, I will try those steps. But I'm noticing that there is no rsyncd daemon in either init.d OR xinetd...
