rss desktop news feeds in gnome

I am looking for a rss DESKTOP news feed program for gnome. I AM NOT looking for a program that opens it's own window and does rss news feeds. I am looking for something that displays headlines directly on the desktop. So far I can't find anything that does this.

Here is a link with a screenshot of erss on enlightenment D16, I want something just like this but for gnome!

Thanks for you help.

Thanks Zerthis, I installed gdesklets and found one called RSSTicker, not exactly what I was looking for but I think it will work, however I get this error messeage when I try to run it.
Quote:
/home/stretch/.gdesklets/Displays/RSSTicker/rssticker.display
218 update_display(0)
219 newurl=''
220 newtitle=''
221
222
> 223 news = get_control("INewsGrab:5xhg1rx7pk7kxr46qi1yfrxlh-2")
224 news.bind("refresh",motion)
225 news.read=feedurls[ticker_index]
226 Dsp.ticker0.value="Please Wait..."
227 Dsp.ticker1.value="Please Wait..."
228 add_timer(0, motion)
229
Any ideas how to fix this? I was reading on another forum someone with a similar problem but the answer was not explained detailed enough for me to understand. If it is a porblem of being packaged wrong I am unsure of what I need to make a symbolic link to and from where? Where dose the symbolic link need to be located and what file should it be pointing to?
