RPM fail, Need tar.gz
Well, I am trying to get this thin client setup working at my apartment, and am having no problems, except when I try to install tftp-0.32-4.i386.rpm, which came with my RH9 installation. Every time I try to install it, through X or text-only, it never gives me any status of what is going on. the rpm command freezes indefinitely. I left it running when I went to sleep last night, and 8 hours later, it never progressed. I ctrl-z'd ctrl-x'd and ctrl-c'd the running process, but nothing worked. I had to switch to another terminal, where I attempted to run it one more time. rpm froze again. I rebooted, and tried it one more time, and nothing happened yet again.... rpm still works for all other packages, however.
So, I've been looking all morning for a source tar.gz version of this file, and can't seem to find it anywhere. All I can find is the rpm's. Is there anywhere I might find this thing, or an alternate installation method?

You may want to try rebuilding your rpm database and trying again:
rm -f /var/lib/rpm/_*
rpm --rebuilddb
I would only use a CLI install:
rpm -ivh tftp-0.32-4.i386.rpm
