Talking RPM Auto Dependency Update??

I've seen quite a few commands for installing an RPM. Is there a command that will install an RPM, plus install dependent files (including retrieving dependent files from the internet)?

I tried using Synaptic as a GUI RPM installer but I'd like to use the terminal or console RPM installer.

you could just use apt from the command line

apt-get update
apt-get install foo

Not sure if that's what you're asking though.

??????????

Isn't the "apt" command for Debian, and not for Red Hat??

I was also looking for a console rpm "program" or switch so it would resolve the dependencies and automatically download the rpm's it needs...
