Restore Redhat 6.2 files to Redhat 7.3

Hi all,

Good day ...

I have backup some Redhat 6.2 files (such as /etc/passwd, /etc/security) and I be able to restore the respected files to a Redhat 6.2 machine. But now we need to restore to Redhat 7.3.

I am just wondering is that compatible ?? Or there are some difference between this two versions of Redhat. Can tell me what is major difference ???

Thanks in advance ....

Regards,
- Tassy -
