Replacing XP with linux DeepIn English and Hebrew

I have downloaded & used Ubuntu/Kubuntu through the years as temporary "in case" on my second computer.

I now wish to replace XP with a linux English and Hebrew. Some UBUNTU's LTS are good for this.

I just tried DeepIn - I found a Times New Roman system Hebrew font but the font list did not show any Hebrew fonts. Also, the Deepin Libre writer did not allow interchangeable use.

This email is both an intro and also a search for Hebrew software fonts that will enable writing Libre office in both languages in the same document.

Thanks

Deepin would not have good Hebrew support: there's not much call for it in China! I'd go with Mint, if I were you.

Here's a list of Hebrew fonts:

Cardo is very legible (I use it) and SIL Ezra looks OK.
