Remote full disk encryption

I've installed Debian 4.0 stable and am testing FDE. My problem is I will have to be able to enter the LUKS passphrase remotely.

I'm at loss as to how to even start configuring such a setup, especially since the boot partition would be the only thing accessible. Any ideas?

Thanks

You'll need a remote KVM device.

Thanks, but I don't have the money for a hardware solution at the moment.

I was thinking something more like that. I take it I'll have to modify the default initfs to include network drivers, and sshd and then to somehow map the output of sshd to /dev/console.

How I'd actually do that is what I'm unsure of.

Maybe start by looking at the initramfs-tools?
