reinstall urpmi off cd


is it possible to reinstall urpmi off of the original cd's for mandrake 9.2? Like umm lets say for some crazy reason i deleted urpmi.cfg and the /var/lib/urpmi directory (not that i'd do it.. but this guy i know ...) how would i.. i mean he go about reinstalling it from scratch?

Well, I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think you just may have deleted the reference to where urpmi installs it's programs from. Try doing this before considering reinstalling

go to this site http://urpmi.org/easyurpmi/index.php. Pick what mirrors are closest to you and click on proceed. This will give you four commands to type in

go through those commands and see if they restore your urpmi. If it doesn't work, I dunno man. Sorry
