regd hciconfig -a (bluez)

Hi,

I have an intel atom powered compal MID device which has a built in bluetooth.

It has an Acer bluetooth adapter with Cambridge Silicon Radios chipset and bluez is installed in it.

I run a command hciconfig -a.
it is not displaying any hci device. Due to which hcitool dev is failing.

cat of /proc/bus/usb/device shows the following.
I:* If#= 0 Alt= 0 #EPs= 3 Cls=e0(unk. ) Sub=01 Prot=01 Driver=hci_usb

Could anyone please help me to make hciconfig -a work.

Thanks & Regards,
Thilaga

It is also worth mentioning that hciconfig won't show any devices unless BlueZ is actually up and running. Depending on your distribution (which you didn't mention), BlueZ may not even be enabled by default.
