Redmine is running even if i dont start the webrick server

hi

i am using redmine on a debian machine

the thing is, earlier when i needed to access my redmine i had to start the webrick server initially to get the access.

But now i made some recent changes into my apache configuration and now i am able to access redmine from the browser without starting my webrick server.

this is how my "000-default" file in /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/ looks

Quote:
<VirtualHost *:80>
ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost
ServerName localhost
ServerAlias 192.168.0.119

DocumentRoot /var/www/
RailsEnv production
RailsBaseURI /redmine

<Directory /usr/share/redmine/public/>
Options FollowSymLinks
AllowOverride None
Order deny,allow
Allow from all
</Directory>

ErrorLog /var/log/apache2/error.log
LogLevel warn
CustomLog /var/log/apache2/access.log combined
</VirtualHost>

wat could be the issue ??

Well that config in apache doesn't reference proxying to webrick, so why would you think it was required? As I understand it, webrick is NOT for production use, it's just a simple server to help develop RoR code. you should be happy about this, and not use webrick.
