Redhat vs Mandrake Drivers

Does Mandrake have better drivers support than Redhat ( i.e. with Sonys).

Thanks,

Short answer, yes.

Long answer:
Driver support is 99% in the kernel. Sometimes distros will apply more 3rd party "drivers" (aka modules in linux) patches to the kernel than others. This seems to be the case with Mandrake/Redhat.

So, bottom line, any distro can have just as much support for the same hardware than any other distro. But out of the box, yes, Mandrake seems to have more patches applied to support more hardware.

Cool
