Redhat Nvidia driver, need access to CD-ROM directory

Need to install nvidia graphics driver and have followed instructions on this site, Ref. Holy Liaison. Have got as far as ......browse to directory in which the nvidia driver is. HOW? I have it on CD Rom. how do I access the Cd drive? being mindful that I am in text mode. Thank you in anticipation. Russ Lea

You need to mount your CD ROM drive first. Do this by using the mount command. On my machine, I would do:

# mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom,

then navigate to /mnt/cdrom by typing "cd /mnt/cdrom". It might be different on your machine, depending on how it's set up. If you don't know, could you post the contents of your /etc/fstab file here, so we can see?
