redhat fedora 6 iso image issue

I am wondering if someone can help me. I downloaded all 5 ISO images for the fedora 6 project. I burned the images to disc using Nero express 6. After burning the discs I continued to begin the install, I put in disc one so that I could check the discs to ensure they would work. Discs 1,3, and 5 were good. I am still having errors for disc 2 and 4 I get the error that the media has errors. I have downloaded these files from 2 different web sites and placed them on 4 different discs. Does any one have any idea how i can get these isos to pass the media test. Or is t necessary for these 2 discs to pass the test.

Have you verified the sha1sums of the downloaded iso's? I would make sure they all match the listed sha1sums from the Fedora site before trying to burn the images as the download could be corrupted.

I have burned the iso images to disc after verifying the sha1sum of the images and skipped the disc check and then installed to hdd.

Don't worry about the disk check - I have seen cases where the disk is known to be correct but the Disk Check throws errors.

As Ryptyde said - check the SHA1SUM before you burn the CD. Also, burn at a very low speed.'
