Redhat 8.0 switching desktops(Want to run E!)

I want to run GNOME and enlightenment instead of the default Metacity. How do I switch the window manager for GNOME. I am not able to switch to sawfish. Does anyone know the procedure for changing to a new window Manager under Redhat 8.0 and GNOME 2?

If you mean without changing files manually:
open menu->extras->preferences->desktop switching tool
