Redhat 8.0 Boot problem
I installed redhat 8.0 on AMD athlon/ASUS A7N266. Initially had problem with grub .92 but after installing .93 it started booting but the system hangs at
checking root file system.
Any inputs pls...

maybe
did you fill your /root drive
I downloaded a bunch of files to root instead of partition home and it hung at boot. may be worth checking?

before this, does it load all ur partitions i.e.root partition and the swap parttion and it start some disk check

1. It is a fresh install..so there is no question of filling the /root.
2. All the steps till "checking root file system" are done in order.
