Thumbs down Recompile Linux kernel in debian 6

Hi.
I want recompile my linux kernel in debian 6 64bit,for finding source code what do i do?
i can't find kernel source in /usr/src.

Install it with apt-get
Code:
apt-get install kernel-source-2.x.y build-essential
cd /usr/src
tar -xjvf kernel-source-2.x.y.tar.bz2
