Realplayer 10 won't start

I just installed Realplayer 10 on Redhat Enterprise 3.0. It is running the 2.4.21 Kernel. When I try to launch it, I get the busy Icon for a while that has the Real logo and then it quits. I never see Realplayer come up. I followed the install directions exactly. Can somebody tell me what the problem is?

You may need to run it like this:

"LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.4 realplayer"
