Really odd amsn trayicon problem...

Here's a screenshot.

http://ravencrow.net/amsn-issue.jpg

I've never had this problem before. I'm using the current stable version of amsn. I've tried uninstalling it and resinstalling it, yet the problem persists.

Any ideas? It's horribly ugly ..lol.

Looks like a problem related to your window manager to me.
I think it uses icon-files (my window manager does), the icon file is 'corrupted?' and apparently, on reinstall, this icon file isn't being overwritten.
Try to get in the settings of your window manager, normally you can find which image is loaded as a tray-icon image there.

Hmm, maybe you're right, but I'm not exactly sure as to where the icon file itself is. Although, the icon I think is provided in the skins folder for amsn. Every dock icon I use looks like this though, so I'm not sure of the problem. I'm using KDE 3.3.1, if that's of any help.

Well, I looked it up, I'm using AMSN to, and my icon files are in

/usr/share/pixmaps.

The ones of AMSN are called:
aMSN_32.png and amsn.png, but note I use WindowMaker instead of KDE.

But I hope this helps you, or do a:

find / -iname "amsn*.png", that will give some locations too I hope.
