Quotas going wrong on HD's

When I make the file system do i have to specify the quota options?

I'll mount it like this in /etc/fstab:
Code:
/dev/hdb1 /var/mail ext3 defaults,usrquota,grpquota 0 2
I made the filesystem with:
Code:
mke2fs -j /dev/hdb1
Is it wrong?

You don't have to specify anything special when you create the filesystem, but you do need to do a little more than mount it with the options you show. Take a look at http://www.yolinux.com/TUTORIALS/Lin...ialQuotas.html
