Quickbooks Database Server on Linux 64-bit

I'm trying to get Quickbooks Database Server running on Debian 64-bit. I have been reading the walk-through from:

https://quickbooks.intuit.com/commun...ger/m-p/201632

but the issue I have is that even though they state will work on 64-bit, the packages for download are all i386.

I've created a linux container and tried using 'alien' to convert to *.rpm packages to *.deb, but get error that it's 32-bit and can't be built on system. Next tried installing 'binutils-multiarc' and some other ai32 package, but not helping.

Is there a way I can get the RPM's converted to DEB and this working on Debian 64-bit? Or maybe I'm just not finding the correct packages.

Been looking for months and so post for some help and of course 5 minutes later I find a site that helped me out. Just in case for others this is the site that helped me out.

https://askubuntu.com/questions/3226...n-a-x64-system

I tried two different ways and they both worked.

1)
alien --scripts --to-tgz <package.rpm>
alien --scripts --to-deb <package.tgz>

2)
fakeroot alien --target=amd64 package.i386.rpm

Haven't gone further to test if working on server with users yet, but got package converted and can install it.

Was having some issues after getting the package working then found out can only use Quickbooks Enterprise clients if connecting to a Linux server. Found this from ClearOS website on the same issue:

"Due to limitations of Quickbooks Pro and other Intuit products, they cannot have their data hosted on anything but Windows. Please use virtualization methods or upgrate to Quickbooks Enterprise."

So I guess back to a Windows 7/10 workstation or KVM a Windows 7/10 guest.
